What is kinesiology?
Neuroenergetic Kinesiology is one of the branches of Kinesiology.
Neuro-energetic kinesiology is a holistic natural alternative healing practice based on western medical knowledge (chiropractic) and asian ancestral energy medicines.
Kinesiology Neuro Energetic is a non-invasive method, without manipulation and practiced on the dressed person. The muscle test (light pressure exerted on the arm) is used as an instrument of “dialogue” with the body. It identifies blockages that can be linked to stress, trauma, emotional or relational difficulties.
Kinesiology is a holistic method that takes into account the different aspects of being: physical, psychological, emotional and energetic, and proposes techniques of harmonisation (using Asian energetic acesses such as acupoints, meridians or chakra) to promote a state of energy balance and global well-being, feel calmed and give access to our self-confidence and to our full potential.

Kinesiology The word comes from the Greek Kinesis= movement and Logia= study. It is the scientific study of human motion including physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement.
Kinesiology was developed in the 60’s by Chiropractors in the United States who incorporated together with their practice, Traditional Chinese Medicine. Kinesiology has since evolved to various branches, thanks to Scientifics or health practitioners, who have developed and continue enriching methods with their knowledge, and discoveries.
Kinesiology is a natural therapy in its own right (See History of Kinesiology) and is now the world’s fastest growing natural therapy as it can be integrated into Chiropractors or Osteopath’s practises, or used as a complimentary modality for other alternative therapists such as Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Herbalists, and Traditional Chinese Practitioners.
Kinesiology is a comprehensive, method of healthcare helping the very individual through the access to information contained within the body and considering a person’s holistic (Integral) well being: not just the physical body but also the mind, spirit and emotions.
Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring : (light pressure exerted on the arm) as an instrument of “dialogue” with the body.
It is the facilitator for assessing and gathering information to trace and identify blockages that can be linked to stress, trauma, and emotional or relational difficulties within the body’s memory.
The muscle test allows the practitioner to communicate with the client’s biofeedback and identify the very self-body’s need: structural, physiological, emotional, or energetic.
After the source of the stress has been identified, muscle monitoring allows the practitioner to find which of the Neuro Energetic Kinesiology protocols will be more appropriate.
Kinesiology is a non-invasive method of healthcare, which means there is no body manipulation neither penetrating by incision or injection.
The correction techniques used are typically acupressure on specific points along the meridians, meridians’ tracing, emotional stress diffusion, chakra balancing, sound healing, colour healing and others according to the practitioners training.
Neuro energetic Kinesiology is the branche of kinesiology, developed by Hugo Tobar (see history of kinesiology). The method uses all the basic techniques of kinesiology and includes a wide range of complementary forms of energy works, using interdisciplinary results from the departments of physiology and psychology. Among experts, neuro-energetic kinesiology is also described as the most advanced method working on the brain. Neuro-emotional research shows that emotions follow fixed neurological pathways. Neuro-energetic kinesiology is an extremely effective technique, which admits that as our brain is controlling our body, we must consider psychology in treating people at a given time and in a specific context.
We use the specific formats Hugo Tobar has developed on chakras, finger modes , formats and holograms.
Why is Kinesiology so effective?
Most health care systems focus only on one aspect of the body and forgets about the different systems involved. This results in an unbalanced or a one-sided view of health or disease whereas Neuro energetic Kinesiology uses specific protocols at a specific moment, in a specific context. It eliminates the need for guesswork, thereby making the corrections very efficient and each session very different.
In Neuro Energetic Kinesiology, the practitioner and the client communicate and collaborate with each other to reach a set goal of healing. The client is always welcome to ask questions, as it is important for him to understand that the practitioner is a guide, whose aim is to support and lead him/her towards his/her self-healing.
Neuro energetic Kinesiology has been associated with real, tangible results in relieving many conditions including:
- Muscle aches and pains,
- Sleep problems
- Work related stress
- Learning difficulties
