How does session work?

What happens during a session of Neuroenergetique Kinesiology?

Whatever you will read about Kinesiology nothing beats trying it yourself to feel the benefits.

If it’s your first session: You will have received an email confirming your appointment which will be 1.5 hour long, together with a personal and health history survey. You are asked to take time at home to read and fill this one prior to your appointment so you have it ready. When you come to your appointment wecan start by reviewing it, you can then share why you are coming and what you expect to get out of your Kinesiology sessions. I will then give you a brief introduction of Neuroenergetic Kinesiology, after which you are welcome to ask questions. You will also be asked to sign a consent and release letter. Please rest assured any information shared will be kept confidential.

I encourage you to prepare ahead of time in order for you to get the most out of your session. (please refer to the “How to prepare” on “Usual questions” page.)

If it’s a follow up session, it is also advisable to prepare in advance. I encourage you to take notes and record what happened after the last session. It is beneficial if you can share with me what has been changing and what you’d like to work on at this time.

Recommendation for getting the most of your session – Arrive at least 5 minutes early,This will help you feel more composed and receptive. – Swicth off your mobile – Wear comfortable clothes – Have a good hydration – Bring a notebook or some paper: You may want to record some key reminders or moments. – Let your intention be clear about the reason you are here, this will help change to occur.

The session

During your Kinesiology session you remain fully clothed Comfortable clothing is recommended as you will be lying on a massage table and the kinesiologist may ask you to move you arms or legs, in order to challenge some muscles.

The practitioner will not diagnose or treat, but will work with the client’s symptoms to find the underlying message that the body is communicating.

A muscle test, as used in Kinesiology, does not measure the raw physical strength. It gives the Kinesiologist information such as “yes” or “No” from the client’s biofeedback.

Since your Bio history has accumulated itself in your body, the Kinesiologist can assess the imbalances. Usually, once a priority imbalance has been restored, you will see that other related imbalances disappear soon after.

Pre checks:

The Indicator Muscle: We will manually check that the muscle we will use as an Indicator for monitoring during the session is effective and will communicate accurately the biofeedback to the kinesiologist.

If we detect a miscommunication that might be caused by a stress we will work on re-balancing until it is ready for communication.

Hydration. Being well hydrated is important for optimum performance, clarity of thinking and proper mind-body integration. The body depends greatly on having adequate hydration.

Switchings: is about checking that your nervous system has correct connections to the brain, transmitting accurate coordination. So we will check: “left and right”, “Up and down” and “front and back” coordinations.

Recording” your Issue: This is the time you are asked to tell the reason why you are coming for this session: the clearer your intension, the more effective the session.

If it is a physical issue, you will be asked to show, rub the area or to walk, move a limb or the muscle involved. If it is too painful, you may just say it.

If it is too emotional or too difficult to verbalise your issue, you can inform your kinesiologist who will capture information through biofeedback while you think. Keep in mind this is a partnership in which you need to be a participant.

The more information you can share with your kinesiologist practitioner the better the results. This team effort will ensure greater success in your journey to wellness.

Balancing protocol:

Neuro Energetic Kinesiology provides different balancing Techniques. Muscle monitoring and your body’s biofeedback will inform the practitioner which is more appropriate at the time.

-Structural

-Emotional

-Physiological

Neurological

Neuro emotional Kinesiology uses acupoints on the meridians from Traditional Chinese Medicine, which we can follow, or acupoints which we will just pulse, to tonify or sedate. It also uses chakras from the Ayurveda tradition. There is no manipulation, only touch.

During balancing phase some people experience tingling, discomfort or nothing at all. Feeling very relaxed and yawning are very common. Please, feel free to share with your practitioner any feeling or discomfort you are experiencing, to ask questions: your practitioner is your guide; his aim is to support you on your self-healing.

Correction: We would say this is the end of this session’ s journey. This part will allow your body to return to its natural balance (homeostasis). The correction techniques used are typically acupressure , emotional stress diffusion, chakra balancing ,sound healing (tuning forks), colour healing, Neurolymphatic, neurovascular and others according to the practitioners training and intuition.

At the end of the session, you will discuss with your therapist what came up for you during the session, whether it be emotions, feeling or intuition. It will be an excellent time to plan the next session.

The kinesiologist can advice you on relaxation techniques, lifestyle changes, exercises, nutritional supplements and more.

The practitioner usually makes a record of what happened during the session, with which they can assess the progress of a certain issue through the sessions.
